Fa uns mesos s’anunciaren, per tal de fer front a la crisi econòmica, unes mesures que, després de les eleccions generals, s’han endurit encara més. Estes mesures de xoc són mesures econòmiques i socials inspirades en el neoliberalisme, que passen factura de la crisi a aquells que no l’hem provocada i que exculpa la corrupció, l’especulació, la dilapidació de fons públics, el tràfic d’influències, la prevaricació, la immoralitat política… factors determinants culpables d’ocasionar-la, que tenen noms i cognoms.
Al nostre País, la crisi s’aguditza, a més pels comportaments poc ètics descrits abans, per una mala gestió política acumulada, pels projectes faraònics desmesurats i gens sostenibles, per les grans bufonades… que no sols han situat l’economia del País a la vora de la bancarrota, sinó que amenaça de desmantellar serveis públics bàsics, educatius i sanitaris, i de causar una pèrdua irreparable de drets constitucionals.
Per això cal rebutjar este model econòmic i social tan injust, defensant una sanitat i una educació pública i de qualitat, oposant-se a les retallades que devaluen drets laborals i socials i, com no, depurant responsabilitats i impulsant una regeneració de l’ètica democràtica.
La Trobada no és una activitat extraescolar
Entre les mesures de pressió proposades a les assemblees, figura la de reduir al mínim la realització d’activitats extraescolars, també per la manca evident de diners.
Davant esta decisió, la Coordinadora de la Ribera, entitat organitzadora, junt amb moltes altres entitats socials i culturals, de la 27 Trobada d’Antella, vos diu que les Trobades no han estat mai activitats extraescolars, ni per definició ni per contingut.
Les Trobades de la Ribera són festes reivindicatives que se celebren cada any per escenificar el suport social als programes d’ensenyament en valencià. També s’escenifica, als carrers del poble amfitrió, el compromís dels centres educatius, AMPAs i entitats amb la dignificació del valencià i a viure en valencià. A les poblacions amfitriones de la Trobada també es genera una dinamització cultural integral, que extralimita l’àmbit escolar i afecta altres àmbits ciutadans.
A més a més, el primer a alegrar-se si no fem la Trobada d’enguany seria la Conselleria d’Educació, que interpretaria este fet com una mostra de feblesa i una pèrdua de poder de convocatòria de la comarca. I no podem consentir-ho.
Enguany, a la 27 Trobada d’Antella, hi anirem amb més ganes que mai d’alçar la nostra veu. Instal•larem taules informatives per difondre les nostres reivindicacions i la cercavila cívica serà encapçalada per una pancarta amb el lema No retallem el valencià. No retallem cap servei públic.
Per tant, vos animem a donar una embranzida decidida a l’organització de la 27 Trobada i a refermar la vostra participació. Per la nostra banda, a través d’Escola Valenciana, continuarem esforçant-nos, com a membres de la Plataforma per l’Ensenyament Públic, per a fer realitat, entre tots i totes, les reivindicacions a favor d’un ensenyament públic, en valencià i de qualitat.
