Amics i amigues, companys i companyes:
M’adrece a vosaltres per convidar-vos a participar en la XXXI Trobada de Centres d’Ensenyament en Valencià de la Ribera que se celebrarà el proper 17 d’abril a Algemesí. Conec i agraïsc els vostres esforços per participar en cadascuna de les Trobades de la Ribera i sóc sabedor també de les vostres iniciatives, dins i fora del centre educatiu, per difondre la informació de les Trobades i perquè arrele el seu esperit reivindicatiu i la promoció dels programes d’ensenyament en valencià.
Desitge dir-vos també que el nou cicle polític que s’ha encetat a les institucions polítiques valencianes no ha alterat ni en un gram la nostra insistència en les reivindicacions en matèria de política lingüística. És ben cert que ara les formacions polítiques que governen les nostres institucions són més favorables a la dignificació del valencià, però això no pot traduir-se en una desmobilització dels moviments socials com el nostre ni en el desballestament de les activitats, com les Trobades, que han cultivat durant els darrers 30 anys i continuaran cultivant, amb el vostre suport, la consciència social i cultural pel redreçament de la nostra llengua i la vertebració del nostre país.
Nosaltres, a la Ribera, continuarem planificant unes Trobades perquè duren tot un any i continuarem duent endavant projectes socials transversals que incideixen en la qualitat de vida dels nostres ciutadans i ciutadanes. Per això mateix, com sabeu, Xúquer Viu és el convidat d’honor de les nostres Trobades; perquè la salut del nostre riu és, i serà, la salut de la Ribera. Enguany, pugem un escaló més presentant el projecte VIU EL XÚQUER, una iniciativa social ambiciosa que aconseguirà, de dalt a baix de la comarca, la creació d’espais d’ús social dins de l’ecosistema del riu, que hi haja una programació comarcal d’activitats relacionades amb el Xúquer i que els centres educatius dediquen projectes pedagògics a conéixer el riu i, sobretot, viure’l. També serà la Trobada en què el canvi climàtic siga l’origen d’un programa d’activitats i propostes didàctiques, per la seua transcendència no sols mundial sinó quotidiana.
El conjunt d’activitats i projectes vinculats a la Trobada de la Ribera es fa gràcies a les aportacions econòmiques de les persones que compren els productes de cada Trobada, garantint en part la nostra independència financera i evitant qualsevol ingerència política externa en la nostra llibertat d’acció. Però, per desgràcia, la venda dels productes de la Trobada no són suficients per garantir la continuïtat i la tasca social que desenvolupem des de la Coordinadora de la Ribera i des d’Escola Valenciana.
Als Ajuntaments estem demanant-los la seua incorporació al projecte AJUNTAMENTS PER VALENCIÀ per fer créixer l’ús social de la nostra llengua per mitjà d’un conglomerat de projectes que Escola Valenciana du molts anys desenvolupant-los. A vosaltres, centres educatius i AMPA, vos demanem que vos feu socis de la Coordinadora de Centres d’Ensenyament en Valencià de la Ribera. A aquelles persones que desitgen realitzar una aportació econòmica més individual, els oferim la possibilitat de fer-se Amic o Amiga d’Escola Valenciana. Entre tots i totes aconseguirem millorar la situació del valencià i que el sistema educatiu valencià siga plurilingüe i de qualitat.
Agraint-vos de nou el vostre suport i la vostra col·laboració, vos emplace a veure’ns el proper diumenge 17 d’abril a Algemesí. Rebeu les nostres salutacions més cordials.
